About Andrei

Hi, I’m Andrei. I’m a Master’s + Ph.D. student at the University of Toronto, co-supervised by Professors Nicolas Papernot and Zhijing Jin. My research interests lie in trustworthy ML and AI safety. Specifically, my goal is to use a mechanistic understanding of AI models to improve evaluation efficiency.

I hold a dual Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Waterloo. I am currently an intern at Google and previously interned at Nvidia. In industry, I currently serve as an AI advisor at WealthyPlanet, where I also spent two years as CTO.
